Project goal: The development of a complex frame system covering the judicial expert field horizontally, which provides electronic support for sound expert opinions and conclusions to be made. Another aim of the project is to support expert opinions to be formed especially in the case of the medical judicial expert segment, using modern technologies, such as 3D modeling, field assessment with laser scanning, interactive spherical panorama imaging, extended reality modeling technology merging real and virtual environments.
The solution also allows the analysis and processing of various investigation results, and the particular results can be shared with those involved in the case – provided there are no legal restrictions or conflicts of interest connected to it. The execution of the activities is supported by the related specific partial modules, which connect via an open interface, and as such can be continuously expanded with the enhancement of the partial modules.
Thanks to its modularity, it is possible for the expert frame system to be utilized in all expert fields listed in the expert legislation, and for it to support the right activities connected to the particular expert fields. The development value of the solution is that it provides a frame for the secondary use of expert opinions as data assets. In the long term, there can be a national digital expert opinion archive created with the involvement of judicial experts.
The system to be implemented also proves a frame for the secondary use of expert opinions as data assets. In the long term, there can be a national digital expert opinion archive created with the involvement of judicial experts relying on the frame system, and the investigation methods pertaining to the expert opinions can also be standardized.
A significant element of the complex frame system is the laser scanning assessment, which strives to provide electronic support for sound expert opinions to be made. With the help of the laser scanning assessment developed as a result of the researches, it is possible to create a precise 3 dimensional digital model about the autopsies, and accident or crime scenes, providing an end product that can be viewed, walked around and analyzed in retrospect from any and all angles.
The project and the resulting complex solution developed afterwards will offer an effective tool for judicial expert institutions, police departments, state background institutions, companies providing professional services, as well as for university research labs for the optimization of their processes and expenses.
